LEGO Trebuchet Building Instructions for the serious LEGO fan!
Have you ever wondered if it was possible to build a powerful catapult made entirely of LEGOS? We did… and this LEGO Trebuchet is proof that it’s possible! This custom design is fully capable of throwing objects at high speeds! In fact, it’s so fast that we need to issue a warning to anyone who wants to build and shoot it… BE CAREFUL.
In order to max out the speed, we went with a “whipper” trebuchet design. To ensure the design was strong, we used Technic LEGOS. To get maximum destructive power, we used steel hex nuts as projectiles! Did we mention that you should be careful with this design? It’s probably worth mentioning again.
This design does require some additional parts beyond LEGOs. You will need some weights, string, and a handful of steel or brass hex nuts. Everything you need is listed in our LEGO Trebuchet Building Instructions. We also included a guide that explains how to set up the trebuchet, best practices for firing it, and a safety guide.
