How do I build the designs from BadCatBricks?
When you buy one of our Custom LEGO Designs, you are given access to download two files.
The first file is the building instructions (pdf). This is a complete step by step guide on how to build the design. This file also includes a full part list with pictures of each LEGO brick.
The second file is an XML part list file that you can upload to BrickLink.com. This allows you to buy all the parts you need in a few easy steps.

Do the designs come with LEGO Bricks?
No, LEGO bricks are not included with our instructions. However, we’ve made buying them from Bricklink very easy! We give you a part list file so you can purchase all the LEGO bricks in a few easy steps.
We do offer custom design services for larger projects. In those cases we do supply new LEGO bricks with your custom project.
Where can I buy the LEGO bricks I need?

The XML part lists provided with our instructions work with BrickLink.com. BrickLink.com is a LEGO marketplace where you can buy new and used LEGO bricks.
What is the Estimated Brick Cost?
The Estimated Brick Cost is an approximate cost to purchase ALL of the LEGO bricks needed for the design on Bricklink.com.
This number DOES NOT include shipping costs.
We used the XML part list included with the instructions with the following search criteria.
- Maximum brick price limit (built into the XML file).
- New and Used bricks (default in XML file).
- Brick sellers located only in our home country (United States). This increased our estimated bricks cost, but it avoids international shipping costs.

Do the Designs include Minifigures?
No. You will see minifigures in some of our images, but this is just for display purposes. We leave it up to you to decide what minifigure should go with each design.
How often are designs added to the site?
We have a ton of custom designs in the pipeline. Our goal is to have several designs added to the website each month. We will also be adding several videos each month to both the website and our YouTube Channel.
Can I request a new design for your website?
Absolutely! We love to hear new ideas for LEGO creations. Send us your request in the contact form on this page. If we design and build your idea, we will respond via email and let you know when it’s up. We will also credit you with the idea on the website (if you want us to).
Can BadCatBricks create a custom LEGO design for me or my business?
YES! If you’re interested in having BadCatBricks create a Custom LEGO Creation for you or your business, please contact me at [email protected]. In your email, include a brief description of what you would like us to design. Please include your phone number and the best time to contact you. Long, detailed emails are not required.
Our custom projects do include new LEGO Bricks. Custom Projects can be supplied in a completed state for immediate display, or as a build kit with bricks and instructions. Whether it’s an ultimate Christmas or birthday present, or a corporate display piece… we can provide you something Awesome!
